Katongo sells many different food products like Groundnuts and Soya beans in Soweto Market. He has been very impressed by how his business has managed to improve and grow due to the Village Banking Loans he received from LendingScape Limited. His main source of motivation has been to keep working hard to provide for his 3 children despite some challenges. He has been getting liquidity support from Lendingscape since June 2021 and has had very positive experience.

Kasongo has many plans and he envisions to expand his business in the next coming years, which was at first hindered by his lack of finances exacerbated by the challenges of the global pandemic. However, since he joined Village banking, he believes that his dreams now have a chance to actually come true and is thankful to have started working with Lendingscape. He also hopes by next year to expand his Peanut butter making business and go into other business ventures.
